MG Metro 6R4 developed TPR / DAM 4100

This is an MG Metro 6R4 developed TPR / DAM 4100.
Having undergone a bare shell rebuild, it is freshly painted in Ferrari Yellow.
It has a valid MSA Stage Rally Logbook, genuine DAM4100 chassis number and V5.

The car was originally designed by the Late 'Great' Tony Pond Racing.

The Longwheel base version ultimately being built by David Appleby Motorsport.
Featured in Rally sport magazine the car is a development of the MG Metro 6R4.

It is a lightweight car with an extended wheelbase, arguably the Group 'S' version of the 6R4.

We have partly completed the restoration to include:

Proflex suspension,

HD wheel bearings

Radial Mount AP Brakes.

9"x18" front Split Rims

11"x18" Rear Split Rims

Michelins finest Racing Slicks and Wets

A very rare car and is 1 of only 3 ever made.

In fact, it is the only registered DAM4100 remaining in the original shape and configuration.

The restoration is currently ongoing and will be completed to

a staggering level perfomance based around the original

3.0L V62V Works Development Engine

but with the necessary upgrades.
