Such an impressive driving display saw John handed the keys to a 640bhp McLaren for a few test laps - Lucky boy!

John susbequently attended the Croft round of the British Sprint Championships on Easter Monday.

A wet start but drying out for the Top 12 run off resulted in a great battle with the other V8 runners.

John eventually coming out on top in the final run and taking maximum points for fastest qualifier and top 12 Victor.

A broken shaft on Sunday ended the day prematurely but John had pink sectored most of the lap.

27th June 2015 - Aintree Sprint - 8th Win of the season for John Graham

A glorious weekend at Aintree saw a record breaking entry for the Liverpool Motor Club run event.

Slick running and four timed runs in glorious sunshine saw John Graham take the overall victory with a personal best of 37.25s.

We were joined for the day by 'Rodney', who's last visit to the Historic Aintree Circuit was 50 years ago to witness Moss beat Fangio.

He thoroughly enjoyed the day, sport and sunshine :-)

12-14th June 2015 - Cholmondeley Pageant of Power 2015 - Twin Turbo 6R4 Wins Class and lowers the record for all saloons.

The weekend started great with a 63.56s run in practice to lower the class record.

During the 1st Qualifying run our car went through the speed traps at 134.2mph (the fastest of all at that point).

Unfortunately, the datalogger shows the driver only braking at 135.4mph and 30m to late, leading to a big crash.

The damage was confined to every panel on the car (except the bonnet), rear upright, caliper, disc, bearing, driveshaft, wishbone, exhausts, steering arms, 3 x wheels and tyres, bent clutch and brake pedals.

A huge thanks to the Marshalls, the Medics and the Recovery crew for their fantastic care and attention to both driver and car.

The team worked hard through the night inlcuding a trip back to base, machining and fabricating replacement parts.

A feat that saw the car roll to the start of the 1st Sunday timed runs where the car recieved a standing ovation from the Marshalls around the whole course (Very touching and much appreciated!!!)

A quick run at 64.97s secured the class win for the weekend.

Present was some very strong group B competition including Audi Quattro S1, Ferrari 308 GTB and Lancia Delta S4.

Thank you to the all the people that came and offered their support throughout the weekend.

Looking forward to CPOP 2016.
